Chapel Service

Chapel Service Hear the music of J.S. Bach during a non-denominational Christian worship service at Knowles Memorial Chapel will be an experience in the German Reformational style and will highlight music of that time performed by students from the Rollins College department of Music.

German Biergarten: 500 Years of Reinheitsgebot Enjoy a German Bergarten and celebrate the 1516 passing of Reinheitsgebot, the “German beer purity law” as well as the beginning of the Reformation in 1517. This event, presented in partnership with the Rollins German Department, will feature German-style beer and food for purchase.

Open Rehearsal: Dvořák Stabat Mater A “behind-the-scenes” experience with conductor Dr. John V. Sinclair featuring the Bach Festival Choir and Orchestra as they prepare to perform Dvořák’s Stabat Mater on the 82nd Annual Winter Park Bach Festival. This event is free, but your registration helps us know how many patrons to expect. The open rehearsal of Dvořák Stabat Mater is sponsored by a generous gift from The Mayflower Retirement Community.
