Bach Festival Society Relocates Remaining 2021 Performances
(Orlando, FL – October 5, 2021) In the interest of patron and performer safety, the Bach Festival Society has changed locations for its remaining 2021 performances.
Mozart, Beethoven, Barber, & Lauridsen: Joy, Hope, Peace, now at the Dr. Phillips Center Frontyard Festival™ presented by AdventHealth, on Friday, October 22 at 7:30pm. Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 has been added to the program that includes Mozart’s Regina Coeli; Barber’s Knoxville, Summer of 1915; and Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna. Mary Wilson will be the featured soprano soloist. Tickets start at $30 per person, with a variety of price points and options. New tickets for this program will go on sale October 8 at 10:00am. Ticket holders for the previously scheduled performances will be contacted by the Bach Festival Society and may choose the best option for their needs. Artistic Director and Conductor John Sinclair explained why the location changes are necessary for the performances: “We have turned away too many people during the pandemic due to capacity restrictions. We feel confident we can safely perform in these larger venues and accommodate all those who wish to experience the high-quality classical music our audiences have grown to expect.”
