Vivian Cook
Viv Cook is a Chicago native who has enjoyed singing and being part of choirs for over 40 years. She believes that everyone can express true contentment and joy through singing.
Majoring in Voice Performance, and Speech Pathology & Audiology, she discovered the best of both worlds. Viv is a certified music and language teacher who can connect with all age groups and finds ways to engage the singer to create inspiring music! She has taught as a music teacher and led choirs from K-12th grades in Chicagoland. In recent years, she has directed several Children and Adult church choirs in the Orlando area, sings for the Bach Festival Society, plays the piano in the AdventHealth Orchestra, and continues to enrich herself by pursuing a doctorate in Strategic Leadership. One of her most outstanding accomplishments was being able to sing as a college student with composer and conductor,John Rutter.
Viv looks forward to collaborating with the Bach Festival Society and Young at Heart choir for years to come!
