Bach Festival Youth Choir
Youth Choir December 2023
The Bach Festival Youth Choir was established in 1992 and experienced a 3 year hiatus due to the pandemic. The triumphant return of the Bach Festival Youth Choir occurred in the fall of 2023 where they were invited to sing with legendary Diana Ross in Steinmetz Hall. Theire season also included collaborations with the Bach Choir and Orchestra for McCartney’s Ecce Cor Meum and the nationally televised program, A Classic Chrismas.
Students who love to sing and have a strong desire to learn and grow musically are accepted regardless of experience.
Our Youth Choir program features two ensembles:
Youth Choir (Grades 6-12)
Children’s Choir (Elementary)
Tuition Costs:
Youth Choir $150 per semester
Children’s Choir $100 per semester

Voice placement auditions for new members (grades 6-12) will be scheduled on Saturday August 17, 2024.
Please email Rebecca Hammac for an appointment time.
Students will be asked to vocalize from their lowest to highest note, prepare one of the two short musical examples and will be asked to sightread or do some echo patterns.
Children’s Choir members do not need to schedule a voice placement.
