Bach Festival Youth Choir

Youth Choir December 2025

Registration is now open for the 2026-27 season!

The Bach Festival Youth Choir was established in 1992 and experienced a 3 year hiatus due to the pandemic. The triumphant return of the Bach Festival Youth Choir occurred in the fall of 2023 where they were invited to sing with legendary Diana Ross in Steinmetz Hall. They frequently collaborate the Bach Festival Choir, and were part of the nationally televised PBS recording of A Classic Christmas. In June 2025 the majority of the ensemble traveled to New York City to perform at Carnegie Hall with National Concerts. Weekly rehearsals are Mondays at Rollins College, however, we are excited to offer a new satellite rehearsal location on Thursday nights for our students that reside on the westside of the county.

The Bach Festival Youth Choir is under the direction of Rebecca G. Hammac.

The Children’s Choir is for younger singers who want to learn how to be a musican and be in a choir. The choir performs a concert each semester as well as often join the Youth choir for special events such as Christmas in the Park and other community performances. In December they performed alongside our Bach Young at Heart Chorale, and this past spring they had a fun workshop day with Aurora Children’s Choir from Tampa, FL

Students who love to sing and have a strong desire to learn and grow musically are accepted regardless of experience.
